Dalmore's sweet and smooth taste can be found. Someone knows whisky making. Add some water. It makes positive difference. Really good for this price.
Never had a truly expensive single malt. I cannot imagine them tasting any better than this Dalmore. At Christmas my friends all agreed this was the best whisky they have ever had. Can't wait til next year's batch.
This was a wonderful whiskey, capturing the essence of the Dalmore spirit. A natural dark amber on the eye, and a constantly evolving nose of butter, unbaked pastry, sherried prunes, custard and chocolate orange. Very smooth, even at 46% it requires no water and with the taste providing a more citrusy flavour with a definite hint of mince pies. The finish is long and delicious, fading into nuttiness and orange blossom. Looks like I got the last bottle, would definitely have been back for more!
