Malty and utterly Dalmore. Seville orange zest, Parfait Amour, malty cereal, barley and chocolate. Creamy vanilla fudge, tropical fruit with a vaguely vinous quality.
Palate
Medium, rounded. Winter berries, spice, zesty orange. Liqueurs emerge; Grand Marnier, kirsch and Frangelico.
Finish
Peppery with well-integrated oak and the claret makes a last minute appearance.

A masterpiece in the art of whisky making
No, no. A whisky cannot taste this good! It's simply incredible. Just the first sip was so goddamn smooth! This is one dangerous single malt scotch, goes down way too easily. I could go through a bottle of this in a night- Fact.
Drink this neat or with a drop of water and just be immersed in the flavour palate of cinnamon, ginger, almonds, caramel and nutmeg. A very warm, charming and inviting flavour profile.
The nose is very mellownand christmasy. I would describe it as dried, festive fruits and berries. all of that combined sets this scene in my head.
(I keep repeating "Warm" and that's because it reminds me of winter, where one would crave being inside and warm. That's the feeling i get from this whisky, a comfortable and cosy smelling aroma...if that makes any sense whatsoever)
I am a duke living in a grand countryside mansion, i am sitting in a large armchair with a table beside me with a glass and a bottle of Dalmore KAIII. There's a large fire place in front of me, Crackling and snapping. my dog, a chocolate labrador, is laid in front of it, curled into a slight arch his head just above his paws. The weather outside is snowing heavily and the lighting is one chandelier above me, just so that it looks peaceful, warm and inviting. I am wearing a gown or robe with some slippers on, reading a smashing book. Perhaps a tad too much, but the general idea is that this is a special scotch. One that isn't to be opened unless you are celebrating a special momeht or toast.
Please stop reading and buy a bottle. I guarantee the taste and experience far, far outweigh the cost. Trust me.
A masterpiece by Dalmore.

Five stars
This is a beautiful whiskey with a taste of fruits. Caramel almonds cinnamon nutmeg and ginger. A beautiful whiskey to get the tastebuds going. A must try

Fit for a King
This is a remarkable scotch that delivers on all fronts. It’s warming and flavorful, and somehow has a taste of chocolate covered oranges. Levels above Macallan 18. This scotch represents bravery and heroism, therefore, suitable for special toasting. Enjoy.

All-time favorite!
I bought this one for my husband before we were married because it came highly recommended and his name happens to be Alex. It turned out to be MY favorite scotch (and he loved it). We have since gotten married, and we used it for our toast. Then, we went to Scotland and toured tons of distilleries (and did plenty of tasting 'research' before we left), and this is still hands-down my favorite. Amazing vanilla, brown sugar, buttery, dark notes with an amazing and long-lasting finish. Do yourself a favor and try it!

Worth trying
If you are a fan of the Dalmore then this won't disappoint. At the same time it is distinct from their other offerings. Smooth and complex, but perhaps a bit pricey. It is worth trying for yourself and making your mind up.
