Daddy Rack in Tennessee distilled this straight whiskey from a mash bill of corn (80%), rye (10%), and malted barley (10%) before maturing it for four years in a single barrel. Barrel no. 12 yielded a total of 300 bottles, at a robust 59.6% ABV.
Green apple, soft apricot, candied orange, vanilla.
Vanilla fudge, toasted oak with a touch of redcurrant and cocoa.
Richly charred oak, more vanilla and berries followed by a prickle of pepper and nutmeg.
