A 9 year old Craigellachie that was distilled in 2007 then aged in a single ex-Bourbon cask. It was bottled in 2017 by independent bottling-extraordinaires Berry Bros. & Rudd at 46% ABV.
Notes of banoffee pie, McVitie's Hobnobs and dried apricot keeps wafts of bonfire smoke and prickling white pepper company.
Blueberries spread on lightly browned toast blend with chopped herbs, barley sugar, a creamy hint of milk and a helping of ash.
Butterscotch and salted popcorn compete in a varied finish.
