    Single Malt

Craigellachie 7 Year Old 2014 (cask 621) - The Cooper's Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.)

Seven year old single malt from Craigellachie, distilled in 2014 and bottled up in 2022 by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper's Choice series. Its time maturing was spent in American oak, before finishing up in a Sauternes wine cask, imparting some deliciously sweet dessert wine richness to the final spirit. A real treat to sip after supper! A release of 264 bottles.

Candied fruits, diced nuts with wafts of bold roasted barley, and sweet cinnamon.

    Palate

Juicy sultanas balance robust malt with burnt sugar following wisps of nutmeg and coffee.

    Finish

Floral jam, hints of festive spice, dried apricot, and warming oak char.
