Single malt Scotch from Craigellachie is cracking stuff, and this expression is a great example. Matured for 14 years in a single cask, the whisky was independently bottled up by Canmore, releasing a total of 400 bottles. With plenty of creamy malt and soft fruit notes to explore, this is a superb sipper from the Speyside-based distillery.
Baked apples with a dash of cinnamon, buttered malt loaf, banana, and creamy vanilla.
Still creamy with fresh notes of crisp apple and sweet, tropical fruit. Buttery barley brings subtle vegetal notes, with earthy oak spice and cocoa following on.
Spiced biscuits, milky mocha, and honeyed fruits linger.
