Description
A whopper from Craigellachie, distilled in 2011 and finished in an oloroso sherry octave before it was bottled in 2023 by us right here at Master of Malt. A total of 119 bottles join our exclusive collection, at a robust 61.1% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dark and sweet, with heaps of sherried fruit, chocolate caramels, and a whiff of After Eights.
Palate
Dense, treacly sweetness, thick and mouthcoating, with notes of ginger loaf, poached orchard fruits, and cocoa.
Finish
Complex layers of spice, runny caramel, toffee apple, and chocolate raisins.
