A cracking Craigellachie, matured for 12 years in a single bourbon cask - from December 2007 to February 2020. After a dozen years of slumber, the whisky was independently bottled up as part of the Rest & Be Thankful range at cask strength, with an outturn of only 299 bottles.
Dried peels and fresh green apple, with a touch of honey in there.
Chewy apricot, pear skin earthiness, a soft whiff of smoke underneath it.
Nutmeg, clove and white grape.
