This is the 10th batch of Craigellachie single malt Scotch whisky to be bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, which was aged for an entire decade before being bottled. Batch 10 is a release of 5,189 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Roast chestnuts, caramelised dates, ground cinnamon and some meaty malt notes drifting in later on.
Coffee and walnut cake, brown sugar and nutmeg, then barley grist follows on.
Dried fruits and a touch of dark caramel linger.
