This glorious single malt was distilled at Craigellachie and matured for 11 years, with a finishing period in Oloroso sherry octave casks. Brimming with sweet, nutty malt, and fruity sherry influence, it's an excellent addition to the independent bottling range from Darkness!
An intriguing mix of sweet melon, savoury spices and a gentle waft of salinity.
Sweet floral honey with seasoned nuts and rich, oily malt. Wafts of clove and caraway develop alongside oaken caramel.
Herbal notes of pine sit beneath lingering salted almond butter.
Smells complex fruit with hint of leather. Oily mouthfeel, tastes sweet with a salted caramel biscuit finish. Very interesting and enjoyable.
