A delightful blended grain whisky, Hedonism really is as enjoyable as the name suggests. Exclusively matured in American oak barrels, the result is a smooth and creamy offering from Compass Box.
From the first delectable introduction, Hedonism is all ripe fruit, fraises des bois and sponge cake. Some red pepper provides an interesting point to mull.
Very sensual, disarmingly sleek and creamy. Black cherry and sweet spices, some cereal notes.
Very warm and spiced, toasty, some oak and milk chocolate.

“An absolutely delicious blend that will appeal to many. The smoothness and sweetness should see it enjoy popular appeal including to many people who are not normally fond of whiskey. It is a bit pricey but feels worth it to me. I must admit that as a single malt fan, other malt purists may turn up their noses at this a blend. But if you like the smooth malts such as the Macallan or Glenmorangie you will enjoy this. My only criticism it is a limited release! Stocks will run out soon and I love it! A very smooth and pleasant drink enjoy! ”

New American Oak is a cheaper loose-grain type of oakwood that because of its saturation ability, engulfs its inhabitant! This whisky would be half-decent if bottled at cask strength because the SPIRIT is knackered here.
Smooooooth. Smoother then smooth. Love this whisky.
Very pleasant. Overpriced though for me, although - surprisingly moreish.
Back from a tired hiking. pour a dram, don’t even want to bother to think about complexity on the nose or tasting. This is the one make the life so good, nice and simple, creamy and sweet.
So good. I just walked into a restaurant that had it. Delicious! I recently saw a bottle priced at 90ish dollars and thought it must be a damn good blend to command that kind of money... I was intrigued as I’ve always enjoyed the compass box blends at lower price points. I will spend $90 on a bottle of this.
