Another one of Wemyss' tasty releases with equally tasty names, this single cask release of Clynelish was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2013, where it was christened 'Toffee Glaze'. 258 bottles of this yummy treat were produced.
Nose: Toffee glaze? Check. Praline too, salted caramel and plenty of banoffee pie developing! Satsuma, lemon sponge, nutmeg. Twix bars with a little water.
Palate: Orange oil, oak and wood spices with orange Club biscuits.
Finish: Walnut, a touch of zesty marmalade, toast and allspice.
Overall: Toffee Glazed Clynlish? Yes, dee-licious.
