Circumstance Single Grain Estate Whisky is comprised of four different grains (malted barley, unmalted barley, malted rye, and malted wheat) which underwent a long fermentation with three brewing yeasts (saison, Bavarian, mead) and were then aged in a trio of casks (bourbon, new European oak, and oloroso conditioned). The English whisky was bottled at 45% ABV. It's the first core release from the Bristol-based distillery.
Toffee, ginger, cinnamon and vanilla - love mixture of sweet and spice.
Lively and fruity on the palate with citrus and stone fruit, creamy texture, vanilla, baking spices and a little chilli heat.
Lingering spices and sweetness.
An exceptional whisky for an amazing distillery. I was shocked at how GOOD this was.
