A secretive single malt from the isle of Islay, independently bottled by Chorlton Whisky in celebration of Fèis Ìle 2018. This expression was matured for 10 years in a bourbon hogshead before being bottled with an outturn of 159 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Tarry ropes, citrus zest, biscuit dough and a whiff of white grape.
Palate
Brown sugar, mineral-rich smoke, still packed with orange and lime brightness.
Finish
Soft peat sticks around for minutes afterwards.
