The Chita Japanese single grain whisky is one of the selection of fantastic distilleries owned by Suntory – you can learn more about The House of Suntory here.
Chita is their main expression - a whisky matured in a combination of Sherry, bourbon and (interestingly) wine casks.
Chita whisky is great for the summer months.
Honeydew melon, citrus and honey'd cereal.
Vanilla sponge cake and more honey. A touch of orchard blossom.
Medium length, rather zesty.
This is my second dip into Japanese Whiskey. It is so smooth and if you know someone that doesn’t like whiskey get them to try this. As I say very bey smooth. Love it Zero Peat!
For those who like a whisky ripe with vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch, this is your drink!
This is just like drinking silk. It’s as smooth as anything. Don’t think I’ve ever tried anything like it. It was my second foray into Japanese Whisky and I was very impressed. Vanilla and honey take centre stage for me, and the finish is - you guessed it - smooth.
Lovely Japanese whisky. Delicate, smooth and sweet. Not one for your rugged Islay enthusiasts but then why does every whisky have to be? Sounds odd but it reminds me a little of some sweet wine cask aged rum.
Not a whiskey friend, this completely surprised, very easy to drink, no strong alcohol taste and leaves a nice aftertaste. The perception of Japanese whiskey improved dramatically as a result.
