The Chita Japanese single grain whisky is one of the selection of fantastic distilleries owned by Suntory – you can learn more about The House of Suntory here.
Chita is their main expression - a whisky matured in a combination of Sherry, bourbon and (interestingly) wine casks.
Chita whisky is great for the summer months.
Honeydew melon, citrus and honey'd cereal.
Vanilla sponge cake and more honey. A touch of orchard blossom.
Medium length, rather zesty.

light and sweet not to complex at minimal spice and citrus finish. enjoy with an ice cube for a very mellow drink.
Smooth light whisky. Caramel sauce. A bit of spice. Nice sweet finish.
Not big on this at all. I’ve been drinking Glenfarclas 25 and a Kilchoman 9 year old so maybe I’ve been spoilt...but this stuff tastes exactly like Haig club to me. I can taste vanilla, caramel and little else. It’s borderline undrinkable in my honest opinion, but I know a lot of whisky drinkers who would say the same thing about some of my favourite drams so each to their own.
Beautifully smooth with vanilla and honey. Easy drinking.
Lovely jubley light, fruity very nice and will be having a closer look at Japanese whiskey for sure.
