
A single malt whiskey from Cedar Ridge in Iowa, made exclusively from 2-row pale malted barley. After ageing in a whole range of oak barrels, including wine barrels from the Cedar Ridge winery, the liquid is then finished in a solera system. It's complex and rich without being overly sweet.
Toffee apple, heather honey and fresh orchard fruit, with aromas of caramelised nuts.
Less sweet than the nose suggests, with dry notes of leather, vanilla oak and melted dark chocolate, with a hint of menthol and rich, juicy wine notes.
A dry, smoky, lengthy finish with a hit of oak spice.
