The door of the Caperdonich Distillery closed many moons ago, but bottlings of its whisky still make their way into the world from time to time - and that's a marvellous thing! This one is a 21 year old unpeated Caperdonich, aged in first-fill American oak barrels and bottled as part of Chivas' Secret Speyside Collection.
Aromas of zesty orange and barley sugar followed by notes of lemon curd.
Poached pear and vanilla with a delightful background of floral herbs.
Long, sweet and smooth.
