A lesser-spotted cask strength Caperdonich, produced at the now-silent distillery on 11 September 1997, just five years before it was closed, and thirteen years before it was demolished. The single malt was left to mature in a first-fill barrel until it reached 21 years of age. On 17 June 2019, 276 bottles were drawn from the barrel at 49% ABV, bottled by Chivas Brothers for the Distillery Reserve Collection.
