The Distillers Edition series sees some spectacular whisky double matured in specially paired wine-finished casks. This Caol Ila joins the 2022 collection, and the smoky Islay single malt has been matured in moscatel seasoned American oak casks, lending a sweet complexity to the powerful, coastal character.

Nose
Waves of coastal peat, with damp ashes, and subtle hints of dried apricot.
Palate
The full flavoured smoke has a sweeter edge tending more towards barbecue smoke, with some pepper and cinnamon alongside.
Finish
Lovely and smoky.
