Single malt from the east coast of Islay here, independently bottled by Dràm Mòr. This is a 6 year old Caol Ila, bottled at a hefty 59% ABV and with an outturn of 312 bottles. Enjoyably smoky and clean stuff.
Banana chips, fiery peat smoke and a good whiff of fresh ginger.
Hugely coastal, with a hint of lemongrass and candied peels imparting sweet, balancing elements.
Peppery, seaweed and barley.
