This time, they've bottled a 6 year old single malt from the distillery on the Isle of Islay, and it's a wonderfully savoury expression. No wonder the deer of Jura are defying the laws of physics to get at it!
Batch 3 is a release of 372 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Black pepper, heather and a hint of thyme. Sea salt-coated crackers, too.
Oily, with more thyme and a hint of green olive. Sweeter hints of citrus peels and blueberry develop.
Long and smoky, with enjoyable salinity lasting on and on.
