Indie Islay whisky from the excellent Caol Ila distillery, aged in a single cask for 23 years from January 1993 to February 2016. This was bottled by Montgomerie's for their Rare Select range.
Oily malt, medicinal peat and lemon tart.
Salted caramel, seaweed, pineapple. A mineral edge to it.
White oak, ash and clementine.
