Part VI of the collaborative Whisky Sponge and Decadent Drinks Islay Sponge series is a splendid 13-year-old single malt from Caol Ila. It's a marriage of a 2009 refill sherry hogshead and a 2010 first-fill sherry hogshead, bottled at a nice robust 53% ABV.
