What do we have here? Single cask Caol Ila finished in a first-fill palo cortado hogshead? Hell yes. James Eadie bottled up this beauty that was distilled back on 15 February 2011 after it spent 11 years ageing, five months of which was the finish in the aforementioned sherry cask. It's presented at a cask strength 59.3% ABV.
Citrus peels and brioche buns are joined by dried fruit, smoked meats, seaweed, and honey.
Earthy peat, clove, dark chocolate, and orchard fruits covered in dark honey.
Eucalyptus and a little salted caramel.
