Distilled at Caol Ila in 2012, this 10-year-old single malt Scotch whisky enjoyed time in a sherry cask before being bottled up by Adelphi in 2022. Released at cask strength, with no added colour, and non-chill filtered. With an outturn of only 256 bottles, this is full of sweet, maritime, Islay smoke.
Sweet, sherry-soaked fruits, with wafts of maritime peat.
Barbeque and earthy bonfire smoke, backed by juicy currants, and drizzles of caramel.
Sweet smoke lingers, along with allspice.
