Nose – Smokey with some sea air, fresh fruits in shadows Palate – Peaty and sweat, spice spreading. A caramel sugary spice perhaps a hint of liquorice Finish – Extremely long, the flavors of spice and sweetened peat ebb and flow for a delightful eternity Impression – I was expecting complexity from Laing and Caol Ila at this age and this bottle served that well. The combination of flavors made every swallow slightly different. The oaky caramel quality lasts despite heavy peat and spice which in other bottles tend to dominate but with this one, they acted as perfect compliment.... highly recommend! -Scotch & Honey
