The renowned Canadian whisky, married in white oak barrels. Canadian Club was founded by whisky mogul Hiram Walker.
The nose is of medium-body with notes of barley sugar and aniseed, notes of cut grass and fennel, a hint of straw and a vegetal freshness. The palate is quite sweet and gentle. There are notes of winter spice and dark sugars, a touch of rum. The finish is of medium-sweetness and of medium-length.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand anybody maligning this inexpensive whisky. It is ripe with pleasant aroma and flavour and great value for money. Certainly, if you are happy to pay three times the price or more, you will find more sophisticated whisky, but if you want a bottle to share during an evening with your mates, I guarantee none of them will complain at being given this stuff. Good whisky and good value.
Am thankful I only tried the 3cl sample. £19.29 is an expensive drain cleaner although I doubt this would have the same power as Mr Muscle. Sweet, biscuity but no real mouth feel. Slight tingle on the tongue of ginger and cinnamon. Short finish. May be better at higher ABV but this is even more insipid than Jura Journey
Admittedly I drink for effect, not taste and this whisky certainly did not disappoint me.
Best drink out there and Master of Malt are the best priced on line.
Very best
