25 year old single grain from the sadly closed Cambus distillery, aged in a refill Sherry butt before being independently bottled by Claxton's! A release of 571 bottles, presented at cask strength.
Peaches in syrup, baklava, thyme honey and mint leaf.
Porridge with lots of raisins and honey, apple crumble, oily walnut showing off the whisky's age.
A light hint of Fruit Salad sweeties.
Hope this comes back on sale, I have paid a lot more for a lot less. Lovely delicate flavour with a smooth finish that leaves you wanting more. Vanilla and Fruit, what's not to like about that, if you can find a bottle buy one you will not regret it.
