Bushmill's original whisky is a smooth, easy-drinking whiskey that has been produced in Ireland for centuries.
Bushmills Original is made up of grain whiskey matured for five years before blending with malt whiskeys. Bushmill's Irish whiskey is triple distilled and very supple.
Bushmills Original is a consistent, great value-for-money, triple-distilled blend made with a core of flavoursome malt and grain whiskies
Aromatic, sweet Riesling-like quality to this. Also cut herbs and blossom.
Fruity, aromatic palate. Salty butter, all kinds of blossom, sweet vanilla cream and citrus.
A malty finish with cardamom and ginger on the tail.

Fairly bland, but for the price it is about what one should expect.
I like to have a bottle of Bushmills in our house pub at all times if possible. A lovely Irish whiskey - smooth, sweet, tangy, and full-flavoured...I have no idea why Jameson is even remotely popular when one could have Bushmills (or other Irish whiskies) instead. Lots of honey and citrus zest, with a creamy mouthfeel. Not complex, but delicious and dependable.
Very good whiskey, well made and so easy to drink. A great place to start if you are new to Scotch or Irish.
for a cheaper whiskey it is quite drinkable. however I find it very much lacks flavour. a little sweet, but I found the finish almost non existent. My favourite whiskey for this price band would be Grants by far. I would not buy this again unless I could not get hold of something else.
I don't know why, but I get a bunch of banana in the nose on this one. As I sip, I'm wishing I had something with a bit more bite. But I do enjoy it for the money, especially since you can find it in just about every pub in town..
