Tried it side by side with a Bushmills Black Bush and was surprised to find out that I prefer the the original. Not as sweet as I remembered it to be. Somewhat tangy and almost a bit salty. All in all a good easy drinking whiskey. And it makes a great Irish coffee!
Bushnell Original. All the taste of a great Whiskey without the burn that you get with a Malt. Basically? Fantastic. Sliante !!
This whiskey will burn your throat if you don’t add some water but it’s a good whiskey to drink straight or mixed.
No other whiskey could possibly be this good. It is smooth and I like that it is a simple original recipe. Nobody has to mess with this at all. It is perfect just the way it is and has been for over 400 years. I even pour it over banana bread or other quick bread. Fine for Christmas pudding and fruit cake. Better than brandy. I love the flavor of this whiskey. Delicious! Yes, I drink it too!
