If you've been in a bar (any bar, really), you've more than likely seen a bottle of this on the shelf. One of the most well-known Irish blends, Bushmills Black Bush features a lot of sherried malt in its recipe, alongside classically caramel-y grain whiskey. Suitable for enjoying neat, but it can also be used in whiskey cocktails that call for dark fruit sweetness...
Over-ripe grape and light citrus on the nose. A touch of toffee and peanut.
Vanilla and milk bottle sweeties. Dried peels, chamomile tea and cinnamon sticks.
Digestive biscuit, cooked plum and orange oil.

Beautiful smooth tasting Whiskey will certainly purchase again Thanks Alan
Been involved in the whisky industry for well quite sometime. I do appreciate this whisky but I do find it has an overwhelming synthetic banana taste to it. Reminds me of when I was a child and would get that penicillin that tasted like bananas. It's just my own palate. Too each their own. Slainte!
That last one. I've never tasted anything called Jurassic. It was Jura. My bad
Not sure why you'd give this 1 star Saint it tastes cheap. Thew you go to we all have different tastes in this big wide world. I had this around Christmas time along with a bottle of Jurassic, Talisker and Penderyn (lucky me) all of which are in my opinion outstanding whiskeys. So I wasn't expecting miracles from Blackbush, however, this one is a lovely little drink. At under £25 a bottle, I highly recommend this one. And there ladies and gents, is my first ever whisky review. I thank you
I got REALLY into whisk(e)y in the last couple of years, and admit that I went a bit overboard buying all kinds of scotch, japanese whisky, irish whisky, bourbons and rye. I took classes at several whisk(e)y bars in NYC. In the end, believe it or not, one of my favorite go to whiskeys has become Bushmill's Black Bush. Personally, I like it better than Red Breast and Greenspot, which I tried to like better because they were about twice the price. I still enjoy a peaty Ardbeg or Laphroaig from time to time, or some Woodford Reserve Rye, by if I had to move to a deserted island and could only bring a case of one whiskey it would be the Black Bush.
