If you've been in a bar (any bar, really), you've more than likely seen a bottle of this on the shelf. One of the most well-known Irish blends, Bushmills Black Bush features a lot of sherried malt in its recipe, alongside classically caramel-y grain whiskey. Suitable for enjoying neat, but it can also be used in whiskey cocktails that call for dark fruit sweetness...
Over-ripe grape and light citrus on the nose. A touch of toffee and peanut.
Vanilla and milk bottle sweeties. Dried peels, chamomile tea and cinnamon sticks.
Digestive biscuit, cooked plum and orange oil.

not like before
Before I tried Black Bush I was really not a whiskey fan at all, particularly the peat smoky, heavier flavor of Scotch. Haven't tried Red Breast yet.
Sweet and smooth wth a great after taste.
I'm a single malt Scotch Whisky drinker, period! Then this pretender comes along and oh my god I'm a convert! Mildly sweet and tempered with a fruity nose a medium palate with mild malt, smoke and just a tease of peat in the aroma and on the palate. This formulation is what the joy of a sipping Whiskey is all about. Warming and approachable this Irish Whiskey is a winner and has made more than a few of my friends into converts also. Enjoy!!
Good value, smooth and nutty but not as good as 10 year single malt.
