Description
Bottled by the House of Macduff, Burns Nectar is a single malt Scotch whisky from an undisclosed distillery up in the Highlands, named in honour of the Bard of Ayrshire, Robert Burns. There he is on the label, looking off into the distance somewhat wistfully.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sponge cake, honey and plenty of barley.
Palate
Slightly floral at first, before notes of almond, walnut and toffee pennies appear.
Finish
Peppery malt, hints of tobacco and sultana.
