If the movie industry has proven anything (apart from Tom Hanks being a treasure), it's that people love a good sequel. Well, that idea is coming over to the whisky world - this right here is Bunnahabhain's Toiteach a Dhà, which means "Smoky Two" in Gaelic. It's the sequel to their popular peaty treat Bunnahabhain Toiteach, featuring a much more up-front core of sherried spice shining out between the smoky plumes.
Roasted peanuts, cinnamon and red chilli flakes, blackcurrant and Port.
Sea salt and kippers, dark chocolate, sultanas, a touch of cantaloupe.
Barley, dry smoke and pepper.

Very nice smoky note with a spicy character. Quite surprising with a piece of dark chocolate
Superb value for money. Well balanced and really smooth. Sherry comes through nicely and the smoke and peat aren’t overpowering. For a core range malt it’s excellent!
For me it is best of core range. With a bit of ice and time it begins to reveal its taste of cherry and smoke. It is pleasure to drink.
New Christmas addition from the husband. If I'm honest I was disappointed when I opened it as he didn't buy from the list I asked for however turns outs absolutely divine and a new favourite. Nice gentle sweet smoke with a smooth finish. Thoroughly recommended.
A touch of water and a little time brings the peat and sherry influences to a peak.NAS'S don't get better than this
