Another fabulous addition to our Single Cask Series - an 11 year old Bunnahabhain aged in a single first-fill sherry butt! It was distilled at the Islay-based distillery on 16th October 2006, left to mature for 11 years and then bottled at a weighty 60.1% ABV on 21st June 2018. Delicious stuff.
Dried fruit and marzipan, fresh apples and pears. A subtle undertone of salinity.
Nutmeg, warm oak and apples. Sticky toffee pudding and lighter fruit notes.
Winter spices linger on the finish.
Initial gob-smacking mouthful but lingers and after taste goes on and on. Not a hint of the normal Bunnahabhain smell of the sea in the nosing.
