Another brill Boutique-y Bunna! Yes, That Boutique-y Whisky Company has bottled up more single malt Scotch whisky from the excellent Bunnahabhain Distillery on Islay. We're up to batch 22, but it's still as impressive as ever – which make sense, when you consider Bunnahabhain was founded all the way back in 1881. Reckon they've picked up a few tips for making great whisky year after year in that time.
Batch 22 is a release of 1,161 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Apple peel chips, vanilla and a note of Pinot Noir initially, then salted caramel, coastal air, polished oak furniture and nutmeg.
Through barley, dry smoke and dark chocolate there’s damp earth, salted pretzels and sultanas.
Charred oak, winter spice and orchard fruit.
