Single Malt
Scotland
Sherry
A smoky, sherried single malt distilled by Bruichladdich and released under the rarely-seen Lochindaal name! This expression was aged for 9 years, including a finishing period in a specially-coopered Moscatel sherry octave cask, before being bottled up at 51.8% ABV for the Darkness range - which is all about showing off brilliant sherried drams.
Richly chocolatey, with a touch of sherried funk. A slow build of earthy peat in the background.
Chocolate biscuits, forest floor, sultana and salted caramel.
Banana fritters, smoky embers and strawberry boiled sweeties.
