Single Malt
Scotland
1 Jan 2011

Rounding off its unpeated Barley Exploration series, Bruichladdich The Organic 2011 was made with 100% Scottish barley cultivated at Mid Coul farm in Inverness, Scotland, without the use of artificial fertilisers or pesticides. It should be a rewarding dram for anyone who is interested in terroir and how pre-maturation processes affect a whisky’s flavour.
Delicate floral notes drift through butterscotch, citrus, and some oak spice.
Caramelised orchard fruit combines with creamy vanilla and lemon peel.
Sweet and supple.

Great single malt and worth every penny. I love the sweet "light" palate and the finish is superb. This is probably one of my favourite non peated whiskies
