Probably not aimed at the pompous end of the market

Clearly aimed at a younger audience and none the worse for that. A 'designer' whisky that offers both style and some substance. Will appeal to women too, I would think. Light, easy drinking. 7/10.

    Not much to praise here.

A nice smell of sea air, that's about everything positive there is to say about this astoundingly bland bottling.

    We don't need no education

Just glad I'm not smart enough not to enjoy this ;)

Thank goodness for my lack of education

Indeed, this is one of my favourites. Less sweet than most with a nice salty kick that reminds me of eating rock oysters. Thus how happy I am that I'm not educated enough in whisky to dislike waves.

    Great Islay Scotch!

Count me among the uneducated, I love Waves! The seaweed coastal thing is really going on in this Scotch. Complex.
