A 26 Year Old single cask Bruichladdich! This was distilled over on Islay back in 1992, and was whacked into a single barrel for just over a quarter of a century. It was bottled in July 2019, released as part of The Single Malts of Scotland bottling range, with an outturn of 222 bottles at 54.2% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh hay, apple skin and lemon blossom, with caramel and marzipan.
Palate
Herbal notes of rosemary, oily lemon peel and canteloupe, with fresh malt and apple blossom.
Finish
Warming spices, namely ginger, appear on a long finish.
