The fourth release of the legendary Bruichladdich Black Art whisky. With the recipe a mystery to everyone apart from the creator, it's still a cryptic enigma.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
$60.78 - $482.38
The nose is amazing, vanilla pudding, sherry, toffee and it changes after sitting for about 15 mins. The palate is truly unique, lots of flavor, I agree this one needs time and patience because it continuously develops different flavor profiles. The finish could be longer, but it’s pronounced enough, I was amazed, this bottle won’t last long in my house, it’s unique and more different than anything else I’ve ever had. Amazing!
The nose alone was worth the price of the bottle. Looking forward to several different ways to enjoy.
This is a truly special whisky. It is a pricey one (if you can even find it now), but it really does justify the cost. It's one to really take your time with, as it changes so much with time in the glass. Can't recommend it enough.
as others wrote before me: no words. have a sip and dip into the skies. an experience.
Sorry it has been discontinued. Oh well lots more to try. A great dram.
