Single Malt
Bruichladdich
Scotland
The fourth release of the legendary Bruichladdich Black Art whisky. With the recipe a mystery to everyone apart from the creator, it's still a cryptic enigma.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Wow just had this today (bought a bottle a few days ago) and it's simply amazing. Not an everyday dram but I would if I had endless cash. Complex, no heat at 49.2%ABV, just tons of Flavors to pick out. An unpeated Islay that's disguised as a Highland malt. 23 years old and drinks vibrant and fresh yet has maturity in mouthfeel, finish and complexity. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth it if you can live without the $350
This is Ambrosia. This is what the gods drink. I became a new man after this dram. There are truly no words to describe this.
THE best... THE BEST out there. At least one of THE BEST. Six stars out of five.
Simply the finest malt I have had the pleasure to drink. Enjoyed a bottle of the 3.1, deeply sad when it ended. Helped Bruichladdich out by consuming a good few drams of the 4.1 at a London masterclass - shame to leave the bottle still with content. I was content to help another guest polish off the last 25%. The 5.1 is also very, very good. All the expressions of Black Art are deeply complex, smooth and layer after layer of sensual pleasure on the tongue. A small 20cl bottle of 5.1 from an understanding wife to drink on my 60th birthday. And have now found two on-line retailers in Scotland with 4.1 at a penny off £200. Could I resist. No, of course not. To the doubters with their negative reviews below..... I note you all add the 's' to make it arts and talk in dollars. Hmmmm. Does that mean something? Probably not. Please send excess stocks back to the UK marked for my attention! PS I forgot to say - I like this :-)
It's Black Art. Not Black Arts. If you can't get the name right, can you honestly expect anyone to take anything else you say about it seriously? Seriously.
