Bruichladdich Cuvee 640 is the first of three whiskies from the distillery's Cuvee range. This Eroica edition was aged in American oak and finished in Limousin oak brandy casks before bottling. It comes with a subtitle from the opening line of Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

The nose offers up stone fruit and peach nectar. Soft spice, chocolate, coffee and a hint of marmalade. Very fragrant.
Thick, fruity palate entry with notes of apple peel, rose petal jelly and dried strawberries. Slightly coastal and fresh, with a malty core.
Long, fruity finish. Dried apricots.
