A sherried 14 year old single malt from Bruichladdich, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! Littered around the laddie in the Generation Game's conveyor belt booth are oodles of clue to bottlings from Bruichladdich's past, like the Octomore releases and the DNA series.
Batch 9 is a release of 192 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Roasted hazelnuts, summer berry tart and a touch of molasses.
Refreshingly fruity, with notes of strawberry, damson and grapefruit. Savoury hints of tobacco and sea salt keep the balance.
A touch of chocolate brownie and salted caramel appear on the finish.
