The very first 10-year-old single malt to be wholly distilled, aged, and bottled following Bruichladdich's resurrection in 2001. A true milestone bottling, and a splendid collectible.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Just love it. How it can be described as "unpeated" defies logic. Jim McEwan, you are a true legend!
This is a very special whisky, for me this is one of the best (if not the best) whiskies in the massively competitive £30 price area, it is absolutely superb. Although it's only 10 years old it is the quality of its production which makes this punch well above it's weight. You get an immediate sense of where this was matured with a hit of sea water/weed and a grainy, sort of digestive biscuit like body, along with citrus fruits, spices and oak. It's so fresh and crisp yet has a remarkable complexity.
Plea's learn how to use apostrophe's its so very annoying when theyre put in place's where they shouldnt be and left out where they belong! Aside: Great Whisky. Nonsense about smokiness. Full of character, very enjoyable mouthfeel and well judged oak. Fab!
love it, fruity & fiery!
I don't know how anyone is giving this anything more than a zero. The nose is straight vomit after a binge night of whiskey, and the taste is not far off. High alcohol notes with little to no smoothness in flavor, of course no peat by design, but the rest is unbalanced and just amateur. There is nothing sophisticated about this whiskey, and the nose is so incredibly reminiscent of vomit that it overshadows any positives I could mention.
