Bought the first bottle after reading the reviews here. Bought the remaining three in my local outlet after a generous sampling of the first bottle. Unfortunately, the last bottle in the province went a few hours ago as of this writing . I am right now pondering wether to open bottle number 2. Such a pity there is no more to be had forevermore. If it is possible to be in love with a whisky, then I AM IN LOVE.
Might be the smoothest, silkiest whisky I’ve ever tasted. It’s magnificent, just so so delicate and yet at the same time bold. Fruits there, cherries, a sort of plum jam. What an incredible sweet, mildly spiced, and balanced dram, with an amazing weight in the mouth. It possesses and incredibly mouth-watering texture. Quite unlike any whisky I’ve ever had, and the finish goes on and on. Wonderful.
Absolutely wicked! The closest thing I've ever found to the distillery only 'Valinch' bottlings, which are created by Jim McEwan for their 'Sex Appeal'. Worryingly drinkable, every taste is just a wow moment and the finish seems to last for ages. Beautifully balanced with plenty of fruit in there, ideal on a cold winters night.
