Bourbon
15-year-old single malt from Royal Brackla, distilled in 2008 and filled into a single bourbon hogshead to mature. In 2023 the cask was opened by Woodrow's of Edinburgh, independently releasing a total of 188 cask-strength bottles.
Buttery apple pastries, cinnamon sugar, citrus blossom, and juicy barley.
Floral honey and crisp orchard fruits are joined by sweet, cakey spice. A touch of ginger joins a dusting of cocoa and a hint of grassy malt beneath.
Sweet citrus peels, poached, spiced apples, and a smidge of peppery heat.
