Soaring in from Royal Brackla distillery via indie bottler Alistair Walker comes this splendid single malt Scotch! Filled into an ex-Madeira hogshead in 2006, the whisky spent 15 years maturing, before it was bottled up for Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers collection. A release of 313 bottles, at 57.2% ABV.
Freshly baked sponge cake, burnt sugar, and vanilla pod, with caramelised nuttiness beneath.
Candied oranges and honeyed stone fruits lead the way, with sugared shortbread and hints of cinder toffee.
Baked pecans, treacle toffee, chocolate raisins, clove, and pepper.
