Indie Royal Brackla, aged in a single refill hogshead for 11 years - from October 2006 to May 2018. Following this oak-y slumber, the whisky was bottled by The Single Cask with an outturn of 285 bottles. A neat chance to taste cask strength single malt from Royal Brackla!
Very floral at first, with citrus blossom and heather. Followed by melted butter and marzipan.
Clove and cardamom heat as it opens, joined by a refreshing hint of orange.
Maple syrup, aromatic sandalwood and dark chocolate.
